This varietal, uncommon to California, is a native of Tuscany and Umbria where it is normally fermented to produce light sweet wine. We have a mere four acres planted in our Los Alamos vineyard. Aromatic and complex, Malvasia Bianca is an aromatic and complex grape varietal made into a truly exceptional wine. Fresh white flowers like gardenia and jasmine, and summer fruits including apricot and peach are anchored with a hint of amber incense. Made in an off-dry style, the slight sweetness and intense perfume quality of the wine makes an exquisite flavor to encounter.
