Our 2010 Pinot Grigio was grown in the cool Los Alamos district and was harvested at full maturity. The grapes were harvested in the early morning, whole cluster pressed and cold fermented over a very long period. This wine was bottled young to preserve freshness and trueness of character. This method captures the subtle aromas of lemon peel, lily flower, jasmine tea and pear. The wine is crisp with natural acidity developed in the grapes while growing in this cool climate. It is light and delicate with a bright finish. It will be a fine complement to a variety of light dishes, salads, fruit, and cheese.
